Today I went to the opening night performance of Irma
Vep out at Bag&Baggage Theatre in
Hillsboro. Jason is starring in a two man show with Scot Carson. They each play four characters and are literally having conversations with themselves at points. They play women and men and Jason has shaved his goatee and even his arms for this role. The play is a spoof on all those old horror movies like "The Curse of the Mummy" or the countless movies made about vampires or Werewolves, and the Alfred Hitchcock 'thriller' "
Rebbeca." It is very campy and they are hilarious. They both have worked so hard to create different characters for each of their roles. Different ways of speaking. Different ways of walking and moving. Different ticks. My favorite part is Jason's Egyptian Princess Dance. Hi-
larious. They do a great job together and everyone in the audience was rolling.
I am thankful I could be there on opening night to see Jason in Irma Vep.
